Yes, her father is a siren who gave her a note with the name of the town on it, which is how she winds up in Siren Cove.

Hmm. I don't know how you see Daisy's father (because April's father used his siren abilities to manipulate the crap out of April's mother and got her hooked on drugs, so he's a BAD GUY XD) but April does have half-siblings out there.

Well, considering Daisy's father just like, abandoned her mother after sleeping with her, he's not exactly father of the year. I have him occasionally checking on her, but from a distance, so he's definitely a dick so they could totally be half-siblings if you want? That would be really fun to play out, I think. :3

I'm definitely into that. Especially since April wouldn't know what to do. She's a jerk, but she's kind of wanted to find her family for awhile, but won't admit it. SO THAT COULD BE A LOT OF FUN!

Yes, absolutely. April's not likely to be arrested, because she's very good at her manipulations, but it'd be funny for Levi to be able to tell she's a serious trouble maker and not have any proof except his mind reading. :DDD

He will just do his best to constantly show up and ruin her fun. And probably flirt, because he's been flirting so long it would be difficult to stop just because he has a significant other now.

Hahaha, oh god, she'll be so irritated by him. But she'll flirt with him anyway. I love it.

I can't think of any specific plot ideas, but any of my characters are available for plotting. Plus Owen is a Siren if that is of any use in the future. 8)

Owen is handsome and tragic, so April would be ALL OVER THAT. XD

But she's also not very nice most of the time. :(

I am available for plotty things. I think I have my hands full with James, but Les and Eli are always open. Les is just...Les. Pretty chill but he can be a good ally. And he is a witch and works for Lara Quinn. The Lara thing may slowly give him more cache in town. Eli is just all around nice and he likes to make with the hugs if she needs a frand.

I just want to plan something with youuuu. I don't think any of our chars have interacted yet.

April's definitely going to have to come face to face with Lara at some point, given that she's a siren and kind of a jerk. >.> But there could definitely be an interesting point of contention there, especially if April and Les were to already be getting along relatively well. :D

She would not know what to do with Eli. He's so happy. She'd just want to poke at him until something made him unhappy. GOD, SHE'S TERRIBLE. XDDD but I'm more than happy to play any of that!

But the connection on the sirens could be interesting. Les isn't a jerk by any means but he may be hard to manipulate as he has a gamesmanship, competitive nature. Very least he would think she is hot and try to flirt some. If he figures out she is a siren, he may want to know what she is doing in town and try to befriend or form some type of relationship. If she befriends him back just to get details on Lara that might be fun.

No, but seriously, I think Les could definitely be a very interesting connection for her. She's generally pretty nice while she tries to figure out if and how she can use a person, but if he's hard to manipulate that might just culminate in her respecting him and genuinely liking him, which would be a lot of fun.

Cool. Yes, I think Les is a bit of a manipulative personality himself, except he is too lazy and just tries to charm people into giving him food. When he needs to be a salesman he can be, which is why Lara hired him on as her assistant. So. Dis will be fun. Maybe we can have them meet at the Watersong or something?

So, April using her siren powers to con people out of money...

I'm wondering if April has worked with or come across Corry's father. (And another character's father which has yet to be revealed in game).

Corry's father married the prettiest girl in Siren Cove when they were 18. He started out as a traveling salesman, using his charisma to woo clients and buyers across the country. By the time Corry was a baby, he'd grown bored of the straight life, moving from sales to cons and affairs. Small at first, then seducing big investors. Both for all their romance and all their money. If you ever watched Lost, I've envisioned him very similar to Sawyer - if Sawyer was a siren and had a secret family.

Anyway, it could be a really cool connection if either 1) April was another lost sibling, or 2) She and Corry's father had worked on a con(s) together.

Oooooh, yes, I'm very interested in that. April works pretty exclusively alone because she has maaaaaajor trust issues, but I've definitely been working under the idea that she has multiple half-siblings, because her father definitely didn't stick around and definitely slept with a whole bunch of ladies~

That would work amaaaazingly. Its been planned for ages that Corry and another character are half-siblings, and hopefully that reveal is going to unfold soon. We both figured there are lots of other half-siblings floating around, because Corry's father seduced half the world's women. We'll have to figure out how they'll discover this connection, but I love it! It'll be an interesting sudden-onset little family of complicated sirens when they all discover one another.

April's been cautiously looking for her family, though she'd never admit it, so it's always possible she'd stumble across something that connects her to Corry (and Daisy). She will have NO IDEA what to do, even though she's been looking, and it'll be kind of amazing. :DDD

Oooh, is Daisy a half-sister too? If so, maybe there's a reason they've all been brought to (or back to) Siren Cove at the same time together. I just need to check with the other player, I don't want to drag the other character into a big extended family w/o checking, since we've planned this for awhile.

It would also be an interesting dynamic, all these kids who their father abandoned, considering he stuck by Corry and her mother in between affairs. She disowned him as a teenager when she found out what he was up to, but he was a good father to her before that.

Definitely very interesting. April doesn't much care about her father one way or another, she thinks he's a supremely good manipulator and wouldn't mind learning from him, but that's about it, so it would be interesting for her to hear stories of another side.
