It's not that she doesn't believe Robert has relatively good intentions or that she's still angry, but it's been such a long time that she generally doesn't see the point. None of her family members tried to help her when she was being shuffled between foster homes and so she had learned to take care of herself. Now it just doesn't seem necessary to have someone watching her back all the time.

She smiles, though, when Callie comes back into the room and nods her agreement to Caden's question. There's every chance she's going to find this difficult, but she'll try to make it work for him.

"You know just the place, huh?" she asks with a small, teasing smile. "Another restaurant filled to the brim with celebrities? Since you're such a big shot now?"
