It's so easy when it comes to using her powers.
While it's been months since she's done any sort of con and while she has nothing particular on the horizon, it feels strange not to be stretching her wings, so to speak, at least once in awhile. This is what she is, it's part of her very makeup, and there's nothing about being a siren that April has ever felt the need to apologize for. Anyone who has an issue with it can take it up with her, though the truth is she's just as likely to laugh in their face as she is to listen to any concerns they may have.
This is the way she'd been born and no one had been there to teach her how to use her powers. She had discovered them on her own and she knows she's lucky that she figured out how to use them. Surviving the foster care system might not have turned out quite so easy if she'd been without and while she hadn't been able to save every single exploited kid she'd come across, being able to do the things she can do had certainly helped here and there. It's not something she talks about with anyone, the things she'd seen across the various home she'd been placed in, the way some of the foster parents had treated the kids in their care, the abuse of all kinds. She keeps it to herself, but she hasn't forgotten any of it.
Children unsettle her. She never knows what to do about them and she's always been certain she doesn't want any of her own, but she's also never been able to stand a bully. When she sees the little boy being picked on, it's easy enough to send out little pieces of her power that carry with them the influence she usually only holds over the men whose money she's trying to steal. This time, though, she sends them to the much bigger boy picking on the little one and it's only a few seconds before he's turning away, before he starts to walk, then picks up speed, and runs straight into a lamp post.
It's not enough to cause any lasting damage, but it's enough to hurt and she doesn't feel the slightest bit guilty about it. Especially not when the little boy's tears seem to dry up all at once and he stares at his bully for a moment before the bigger boy runs away.
With a grin, she turns away from the scene and continues her afternoon walk down the boardwalk.
[Find April anywhere on the boardwalk. Feel free to have seen as much or as little of the scene with the bullying boy as you like.]

"It's definitely a perk," he says breathlessly, reaching out to slide his hand down her side, tugging her forward a little. "Gonna ride me like this?"

Without moving away, without breaking the kiss, she reaches between them to take hold of his cock and she gives him a firm squeeze before lifting her hips. It's easy to guide him inside her without even looking and she pauses for a second, just letting herself enjoy the feeling of him filling her before she kisses him again, breathing hard against his mouth.

Caden's breath catches as she sinks down onto him, enveloping him in the tight, hot clutch of her body. It's a startling juxtaposition from the cold, rough sand at his back. He slides his hands down her back to curl them around her hips, planting his heels into the sand so he can roll his hips up, breath punching out of him.
"Fuck, you feel good," Caden mumbles against her lips, kissing her deeply and then dropping his head back with a soft moan. "How do you always feel this good?"

That has nothing to do with it at all, it has everything to do with the fact that they just work well together, but she likes teasing him, even now. Even like this. She's breathing hard against his mouth, moving with him, groaning as she leans down and digs her fingers into the sand. It's easy to brace herself there, holding her body against Caden's as a shiver works through her. "God, Caden... just..." But she can't speak much more than that, her breath caught in her throat.

"You're definitely something," Caden chokes out on a laugh. She says his name and Caden pushes them up so that he's sitting up, one hand braced in the sand and the other around April's lap as her thighs spread wide across his lap. The angle makes her sink just a little bit deeper onto him and Caden mouths at her neck, dragging his tongue over the bolt of her jaw.
His hands are all covered in sand so he'll have to make her come like this, on just his cock, and he starts thrusting up into her, pulling her closer to try and find the perfect angle.

"God, Caden," she breathes again just before all the muscles in her body full tight and she's moaning as she comes, the sounds wordless.

Caden can tell when she's close, and he's so glad that he gets to know her so intimately. He loves it when she comes, and the way that it almost seems to take her by surprise, just a little bit, each time.
It doesn't take him long to follow her, not with the way she looks and the sound she makes as she clenches down around him, and he drags her down until she's seated fully on his cock. He comes, muffling his shout against her shoulder, and then holds onto her for a long moment.
After he catches his breath, he rolls back onto the sand and brings her with him, holding her against his chest as he lets out a breathless laugh. "Holy shit."

She could stay here, she realizes. Right here. There aren't many places in the world she'd be willing to say that about, but this place right here really isn't so bad.

They lay there in the sand and Caden feels perfectly content, unwilling to move just yet. It feels like a perfect moment, and he reaches over to thread their sandy fingers together, smiling at her and then looking up at the sky with a pleased sigh.
