"Think for a second how working for Coop might be any given day," she answers with a soft laugh. It's not that Coop isn't a good vet or that it's a constant party at work, but he has such a good, easy going nature that even being at work with him is simple. April has done a lot of different jobs over the years, but she thinks working for Coop might be the first one she's really enjoyed without knowing she was getting a payout at the end of it.

A big payout does wonders to make her like a job.

"It was good," she says. "Working for him is easy." And since the cave, she thinks they've both come away with a better understanding of each other. They don't talk about, which she prefers and she thinks he does as well, but she knows he'd caught the way she was looking at Les and she's fairly certain she caught something in his expression as well when she'd hugged him. They both have things they don't talk about. They both understand that.
