"Is Les here?" she asks and she doesn't mean to push him away, it isn't his fault, but she's worried and there's panic ebbing into every single movement she makes and she doesn't like it. This isn't like her at all and she doesn't want it to happen, she hates that she's worrying, she hates that she feels this way when she's never felt like this before.

She tries to look around, tries to see if Les might be here somewhere and then she stops herself, closing her eyes, letting Caden rest his hands on her shoulders. He's just trying to help her, she has to remind herself, and she takes a few deep breaths before opening her eyes again.

"If he is, it's okay," she says. "We just need to find him."
