"Even if it is, I have no doubt you'll say it anyway," April answers with a sweet smile as the scales slowly melt away from her legs and her teeth lose their points. Her eyes, though, stay gold at the edges until she's close enough to take her clothes from Will, offering him a smile.

"Thank you," she says as she pulls on her cut-off shorts, then reaches out to take her t-shirt from him, her gaze drifting over him briefly before she pulls it over her head. "So I haven't been breaking any laws on this beach, then? Or do you just tend to break them, too?"
